Microsoft invests in communities in the US, Europe, New Zealand and Asia. Target audience: government officials worldwide.
Objectives: promote Microsoft as a valued community member, and encourage officials to toughen local intellectual property laws.
Characters, locations and story arcs were carefully chosen to fulfill strategic objectives. Discretion and deference to cultural sensibilities were required to obtain complete access to locations and characters.
